Oh this little spring has been an incredible reprieve last week and this week! I re-ally appreciated it, and judging by the increased activity around the building, I think most of you did too!
Very few messages this week – Chris will be away for the next week, and Bonnie is away for the next week, so if there is anything you need, please come see me and I will do what I can.

Good morning!
We hope you are all staying warm! Today is a good day to stay home if you can, if you have to be out please ensure you are dressing appropriately for the freezing temperatures! We have a few more days of cold weather but by can expect warmer temperatures by the weekend—thank goodness! This has been quite the cold snap…

February is here?!? Are you kidding!?!? Where did January go? I think it was only 10 days long!
Our housekeeping department would like to offer one-time deep clean sessions. You can book 1-hour, 2-hour or 3-hour slots with Chris. You can decide what you would like focused on – do you want your walls washed? Your fridge cleaned? Your oven scrubbed? Your bathroom deep cleaned? We have some short-term openings while our snowbirds are away. Call Chris at 306-955-9438.

Please be cautious when throwing items down the garbage chute. Anytime you throw something large – a BIG black garbage bag, a pizza box, a couch cushion, or an old bed pillow – it blocks up the chute, causing an unpleasant odor to waft through the building, until the amazing Greg has to go in there and pull bag after bag of gross garbage out of the chute by hand to loosen up the blockage. Keep the loads small – it is better for your back as you are lifting as well. Larger items can be carried down the elevator to the garbage bins around back.

A heartfelt and warm thank-you goes out to each and every one of you amazing residents that assisted the staff in gaining holiday pounds this year! Our table was full of chocolate and sweets and goodies and poinsettias. It was 100% unnecessary and 100% appreciated! I love that December gives us an excuse to stop and count our blessings. All the staff here definitely felt your love. Thank-You!!
